🌟 THE FUTURE OF CICERO: D99 CELEBRATES THE 95 NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERS OF 2026! 🎓

Posted Date: 05/11/26 (03:24 PM)

Last week, Cicero District 99 proudly celebrated 95 extraordinary students from Unity Junior High School who have earned membership into the National Junior Honor Society Class of 2026.

This recognition is far more than a title. It represents months (and for many students, years) of dedication, discipline, leadership, service, and character. These students did not simply achieve strong grades; they demonstrated what it means to lead with integrity, serve others with compassion, and represent their school community with pride.

The National Junior Honor Society is one of the nation's most respected organizations for middle school students, recognizing young people who excel in scholarship, leadership, citizenship, service, and character. Membership is not automatic — it is earned through hard work, consistency, and the example students set both inside and outside the classroom.

Behind every one of these 95 names is a story: Late nights studying. Acts of kindness that may never be seen. Moments of perseverance. Teachers who believed in them. Families who sacrificed for them. Dreams that are only beginning to unfold.

In a world that often focuses on what is going wrong, this reminds us of everything that is going right.

These students are the future leaders of our schools, our neighborhoods, and our communities. They are proof that excellence still matters, that service still matters, and that young people are capable of incredible things when they are challenged, encouraged, and supported.

To our NJHS inductees: May you continue to lead with humility, serve with heart, and inspire everyone around you. Cicero District 99 could not be more proud of you.

Congratulations to the National Junior Honor Society Members of 2026 from Unity Junior High School — your community is celebrating you!
